Earlier this year we were proud to support the 6th Annual CMI Toyota Get Home Safe Foundation Gala Dinner.

This special event provides road safety stakeholders and all road users the opportunity to help raise awareness and funds for the Get Home Safe Foundation, ensuring they can continue to develop and deliver initiatives in the fight against road toll.

Enjoy the video below which features the many highlights from the event.

On the night, guests arrived at EOS by SkyCity Adelaide dressed to impress and were invited to enjoyed predinner drinks before heading into the ballroom, which had been transformed for the evening with beautiful lighting and décor.

With more than 200 guests in attendance, formalities kicked off with a warm welcome from the special guest MC for the evening, 7NEWS reporter and presenter, Elspeth Hussey, before the President of the Get Home Safe Foundation, Darren Davis, took to the stage.

Later in the evening, special guest Hon Joe Szakacs MP, joined Darren on the stage to answer pressing questions from Elspeth regarding road safety in South Australia.

Get Home Safe Foundation Ambassador, crash survivor and road safety warrior, Eli Murn, then shared his incredible story and a moving performance to help promote the importance of road safety.

With both live and silent auctions taking place throughout the night, guests had the opportunity to bid on some amazing items including beautiful art pieces, a corporate box to watch the Adelaide Crows, signed guernseys, delicious wine, accommodation vouchers and more.

There was also a raffle available to purchase, giving guests the opportunity to win some more exciting prizes, all to help raise vital funds for the foundation.

Throughout the night, guests were also entertained by an incredible band and DJ, who performed some fantastic tunes and set the mood for a wonderful event. It was wonderful to see many guests kicking up their heels on the dancefloor well after the formalities concluded.

The night was an incredible success, raising an impressive $16,500 to help Darren and his team continue their incredible work in the fight against road toll.
