CMI Toyota Christies Beach Grand Opening
On Friday, June 14, we proudly celebrated the official opening of CMI Toyota Christies Beach with a spectacular Grand Opening event at the dealership.
Originally purchased in 1997, the redevelopment of CMI Toyota Christies Beach took three years to complete, and we were proud to celebrate this incredible milestone with our valued corporate customers, special guests and team members.
Enjoy the video below which features the many highlights from the event.
On the night, guests arrived at the newly redeveloped dealership to find it had been transformed for this special event. Hosted in the spacious new lower showroom, the area was beautifully lit with lighting, alluring décor and of course, a range of Toyota models that spanned generations.
Upstairs on the Peninsula, historical Toyota vehicles were proudly on display, including a number of LandCruisers, from a 1963 FJ 45 Station Wagon to a 2024 LandCruiser 300 Series VX. Also on display were some impressive passenger vehicles, including a 1989 Celica SX 2D Lift Back and one of the last Camrys to come off the Altona line. Plus, an impressive 2024 GR Corolla was also on display in the new state-of-the-art car lift.
With close to 250 people in attendance, including members of the CMV Group Board and representatives from Toyota Australia, our guests enjoyed delicious Japanese inspired canapes from Indulgence Food Design. Plus, a range of delicious Aburi dishes were served from the interactive Aburi Bar, where chefs created and plated the delectable dishes in front of guests.
Formalities kicked off for the night with a few words from CMI Toyota Group General Manager, Drew Ford, and CMI Toyota Christies Beach General Manager, Regan Anderson, who gave everyone an overview of the dealership’s extensive facilities and the story of the redevelopment.
Guests also heard from Dealer Principal, Paul Crawford, who spoke of how his vision for the dealership evolved. We were also extremely proud to have a very special guest, President and CEO of Toyota Australia, Matthew Callachor, speak on the night. Matthew spoke of Toyota’s longstanding and strong relationship with CMI Toyota, before officially opening the dealership.
After the formalities, guests had the opportunity to go on a guided tour of the building, receiving an exclusive behind the scenes look at the impressive new dealership. The tours included a look at the new showroom and Service department, as well as a look through the new service workshop and parts warehouse.
Throughout the night, guests were also entertained by The Get Down trio, who performed some fantastic tunes and set the mood for a wonderful event.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the official opening of CMI Toyota Christies Beach. It was an incredible evening, and we look forward to continuing to grow our presence and relationship with customers in the South of Adelaide.
