Proudly supporting the 2020 Daffodil Day Appeal
Each year, the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day Appeal asks our community to assist in funding life-saving cancer research and help bring a cancer free future closer.
CMI Toyota is proud to support the Daffodil Day Appeal by providing their hard working team with a vehicle to ensure the operation costs of the appeal are significantly reduced.
The affects of COVID-19 has meant that this year's Appeal looks a little bit different, and only one car was needed to assist their team.
Greg, CMI Toyota’s General Sales Manager was delighted to hand over the keys for a Toyota Corolla to the Cancer Council SA team. The Corolla will have the important task of transporting their amazing volunteers and staff members all week! Be sure to keep an eye out for them on the roads.
Tara, Cancer Council SA's Relationship Offer says, "Thank you again to CMI Toyota for your support. Everyone loves the car - it's beautiful to drive and will play an even more important role this year to ensure we can reach our fundraising target."
To help raise vital funds, they are asking the community to make an online donation during August, head to your local Foodland store and purchase a daffodil dedication, or buy fresh daffodils at one of their three stalls in Adelaide’s CBD on Daffodil Day, Friday 28 August.
This year the Daffodil Day Appeal hopes to raise over $4 million nation wide and the Cancer Council SA team and volunteers will be encouraging as many people as possible to donate where ever they see a donation station.
