The Toyota National Skills & Learning Development Program celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and is a fantastic way to recognise the technical and customer facing excellence of employees across CMI Toyota and the dealer network.
Every year, the program runs for nine months and is an opportunity for our team to further develop their skills and knowledge, and ensure they continue to provide our customers with the highest level of customer experience.
This year’s eight primary Toyota Dealership categories include:
• Diagnosis Technician
• Technician
• Apprentice Technician
• Service Advisor
• Parts Sales
• Customer Experience
• Sales Experience
• Finance & Insurance
In the Technician and Diagnostic Technician category, Cameron, Ben and the other participants were judged on their technical knowledge and skills through a series of activities, then were provided with both feedback and encouragement.
As the face of Toyota to the customer, and the one responsible for building a relationship, Olivia and other Sales Consultants in the Sales Experience category were judged on several criteria. These included their ability to build an effective relationship with the Customer, product knowledge across the vehicle range, and ability to create a distinct emotional connection that gives a lasting impression, just to name a few.
Congratulations again to all of our finalists and we’d like to wish Cameron, Ben and Olivia the best of luck ahead of the National Skills Final in November!
